HELLO VYA, LLC (“VYA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a community vendor directory and amenity platform (the “Platform”) for residential HOA, COA, and apartment communities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the VYA Platform as a resident, vendor, or HOA/community partner.
Important: VYA is built on an opt-in model. We do not proactively collect your data. We only hold information you choose to provide when you voluntarily enroll or register on the Platform. Resident participation is always self-initiated — VYA never receives or uses HOA resident lists.
By accessing or using the VYA Platform, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
VYA collects information only when you choose to provide it directly. We do not pre-populate your data from HOA records or third-party sources without your knowledge.

We collect the name, title, email, and phone number of the community manager or board member serving as the VYA liaison. We do not collect, request, or retain any community resident contact list under any circumstances.

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect: device type, browser type, operating system, IP address, pages viewed, session duration, and referring URLs. This data is used to maintain Platform performance and improve the user experience. It is not used to identify individual users without their consent.
E. Information We Do Not Collect
VYA does not request or receive HOA or COA resident contact lists. Resident participation on the VYA Platform is always voluntary and self-initiated. Associations announce VYA through their own communication channels; residents independently choose to enroll at VYA’s join page. This practice is designed to comply with Florida Statutes Section 720.303(5)(c) and Chapter 718.

With Vendors
Resident contact requests submitted through the Platform (e.g., clicking “Contact” on a vendor profile) are shared with the relevant vendor solely to fulfill your service inquiry. You control when this contact is initiated — VYA does not share your contact information with vendors proactively.
With Community Partners
We share aggregate, anonymized adoption metrics with the HOA or community manager for the community you are enrolled in. We do not share individual resident names or contact details with community partners under any circumstances.
With Service Providers
We use vetted third-party service providers for payment processing, email communications, analytics, and platform hosting. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own marketing or commercial purposes. See Section 6 for details on specific third-party integrations.
For Legal Compliance
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VYA, its users, or the public.
In a Business Transfer
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or Platform notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
VYA is designed from the ground up to respect Florida’s community association privacy laws. Specifically:

VYA uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform and improve your experience. Here is what we use and why:
Session Cookies (Required)
These cookies keep you logged in while you use the Platform. They are deleted when you close your browser. You cannot disable session cookies and continue to use authenticated features.
Preference Cookies
These cookies remember your settings — such as your service area, saved vendors, or display preferences — so you don’t have to re-enter them on your next visit. You can clear these through your browser settings.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Platform — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and where users navigate. Google Analytics data is anonymized (IP addresses are truncated) and is used only to improve the Platform. It is not used to identify individual users. Advertising Cookies
VYA does not use cookies to serve third-party advertising. No ad networks have access to your data through the VYA Platform.
Managing Cookies
You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling session cookies will prevent Platform login. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use any features.
VYA integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data.
Stripe (Payment Processing)
VYA uses Stripe, Inc. to process all payment transactions, including resident VYA Elite subscriptions and vendor annual listing fees. When you enter payment information on the Platform, it is transmitted directly to Stripe using TLS encryption. VYA does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (operated by Google LLC) to collect anonymized usage data about how visitors interact with the Platform. Data collected includes: pages viewed, session duration, device type, browser type, and approximate geographic location (city level). IP addresses are anonymized before storage. Google may process this data on servers in the United States or other countries.

Google Sign-In (Optional)
VYA may offer Google Sign-In as an optional way to create or log into your VYA account. If you choose to use Google Sign-In, Google will share your name and email address with VYA to create your account. We do not receive your Google password. Using Google Sign-In is optional — you can always create a VYA account using your email address directly.

Apple Sign-In (Optional)
VYA may offer Sign in with Apple as an optional authentication method. Apple Sign-In allows you to create or log into your VYA account using your Apple ID. Apple may give you the option to hide your email address — if you choose this option, Apple will create a relay email address that forwards messages to your real inbox. VYA will use this relay address for account communications. Using Apple Sign-In is optional.

Email Communications (Platform Provider)
We use a third-party email service provider to send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, credential renewal reminders) and marketing communications (new vendor alerts, community announcements). This provider processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering VYA communications and is contractually prohibited from using it for other purposes.
VYA may offer SMS (text message) notifications as an optional communication channel for residents and vendors.
Opt-In
SMS notifications are strictly opt-in. You will only receive text messages from VYA if you explicitly provide your mobile phone number and consent to SMS communications during enrollment or in your account settings. Your enrollment in the Platform does not automatically enroll you in SMS.
Types of Messages
If you opt in, you may receive: new vendor alerts for categories you follow, community announcements from your HOA (where enabled by the association), account security alerts, and (for vendors) renewal reminders and review notifications.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any VYA text message. You may also update your notification preferences in your account settings. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further SMS messages from VYA. Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to use the Platform or receive email communications.
Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. VYA does not charge for SMS notifications. Message frequency varies based on your activity and notification settings.
VYA does not use your phone number for marketing or share it with vendors. Your phone number is used solely for account-related and community notifications you have opted into.

The VYA Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. The VYA Platform may contain links to vendor websites or third-party services. VYA is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit before providing personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy and notify you via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
